Since October, JSR Management has experienced impressive Client growth. The two director firm has doubled in size, and according to JSR’s Sue Robertson, they couldn’t have done it without Capium.
The relationship between JSR Management and Capium began three years ago. “We tended to have everything in-house,” says Robertson. “We had an old server and we weren’t cloud-based.” The firm was happily chugging along, and plans were in place to improve their server and keep everything on-premises.
But a conversation with a HMRC officer changed everything. “He said traditional accountants were dead in the water,” said Robertson. “We cancelled our plans to improve our server and started looking for a cloud solution.”
After a brief search, the firm arrived at Capium. Robertson was attracted by Capium’s end-to-end functionality. It’s all under one roof: no apps, no widgets. Just one subscription and off you go.
Whatever challenges JSR faced when they started using Capium face was quickly remedied by excellent customer service. “The training from Capium has been excellent. If we want training we can just call up and ask for it.”
This seamlessness, says Robertson, has made Capium an invaluable part of JSR’s growth. “At the start, we were trading from home before moving to our current premises. Since then, we’ve just had people flocking through the door. But without Capium, we wouldn’t have managed.
“It’s fully integrated. When we key in data it feeds right the way through. It’s all under one roof. Things don’t have to be updated individually.”
After making the leap to the cloud, Robertson was concerned about data security. “We worried about our client data being available outside these four walls,” she says. But these fears weren’t realised as Capium’s industry-leading security has kept client data secure.
And while security has ramped up, costs have come down. Not only financial costs — although Capium has saved many hours of work, says Robertson — but environmental costs, too. “Many of our clients are now fully paperless, lessening the environmental impact.”
As for the future, JSR’s goal is to keep growing and, eventually, open another branch. Capium will be a part of this growth, Robertson says. “Capium has the same philosophy as we do,” she explains, “we treat every client as if they’re our only client. And we get that feeling from Capium.”
